Warner Bros. has released the first ‘Batcave teaser’ for The LEGO Batman Movie.

Christopher McKay (Robot Chicken, film editor on The LEGO Movie) directs Will Arnett, Rosario Dawson, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Cera, Zach Galifianakis and Mariah Carey in the upcoming  LEGO Batman Movie. Arnett (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) returns to voice the caped crusader in this spin-off of the hit 2014 film, which looks to capitalise on its predecessor’s success. Of course, there isn’t much doubt that the movie will perform exceptionally well, given the character’s current popularity in both live-action and LEGO form.

Fiennes joins the action as Bruce Wayne’s iconic butler Alfred Pennyworth, along with Cera’s Robin, Galifianakis’ The Joker, Dawson’s Batgirl and many other talented stars.

The new teaser trailer shows Batman winding down in the Batcave after a night of crime fighting, giving us an insight into what he gets up to in his spare time:

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.

The LEGO Batman Movie is scheduled for release February 10th, 2017.
