‘Civil War’: New #TeamIronMan Posters

The next set of Captain America: Civil War posters have been revealed, showing Iron Man‘s team line-up in the movie.

Having unveiled the posters for Captain America‘s band of heroes on Monday, Marvel has now put their #TeamIronMan counterparts on display with their own new posters, purposefully facing the opposite way to their superpowered rivals.

The conflict in Civil War stems from a dispute, and subsequent fallout, over the newly proposed Vigilante Registration Act by the government in order to have some kind of control over those with powers beyond that of ordinary men. Given the increasing number of Gods, Aliens and superpowered peeps coming to Earth in general, the planet’s authorities desire the ability to have some kind of mutual understanding between them and those currently without “supervision”, who could do some serious damage should they ever decide to.

Robert Downey Jr.‘s Tony Stark/Iron Man believes it best that Earth’s heroes be placed on the register, a position he most likely took after reflecting on his recent mistakes during the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, which left the team, and humanity, at risk of serious global disaster. Stark has played with fire, he has seen what can happen when things, or people, are left unchecked, that leaving any potential for danger can have dire consequences. He and his team will only fight their friends, those siding with Cap, for that reason and that reason alone.

It’s going to be a showdown to remember!
