A brand new trailer for Bad Neighbours 2: Sorority Rising starring Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Rose Byrne, Chloë Grace Moretz and Selena Gomez has debuted online.
Bad Neighbours was undoubtedly one of the biggest surprise hits of 2014, receiving predominantly positive reviews from both critics and audiences alike which lead to the film bringing in over $150 million domestically (US) on a mere $18 million budget. Boasting A-list cast members, like Seth Rogen and Zac Efron, and an on-form director, Nicholas Stoller, whose credits include titles such as Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), Get Him to the Greek (2010) and The Five-Year Engagement (2012), the film was more than capable of finding appeal to young audience members, and having been so successful at the box office it was only a matter of time before a sequel was announced.
The new installment sees the introduction of talented actress Chloë Grace Moretz (The 5th Wave, Kick-Ass) playing the main antagonist, Shelby, who belongs to the sorority that moves in next door to the young couple (Rogen and Rose Byrne) from the first film who must once again face up to the youth of America:
The inclusion of more female characters this time round should surely give Neighbours 2 even greater appeal than its predecessor, especially given the high profile career of pop singer Selena Gomez who will likely play a part in the marketing of the film on social media.
