The report confirms that Driver will be playing Kylo Ren, Seen in the early trailers with his dark outfit and mask wielding a three-pronged red lightsaber. We also get to see Nyong’o in full motion capture ready to be transformed in to either Maz Kanata or..Rose?? It’s likely that we’ll get a full confirmation on that soon. Then we have Ridley in the midst of filming a scene on Jakku alongside Director J.J. Abrams and a still of Isaac who is confirmed to be playing Poe Dameron, an X-Wing pilot who works as an agent for The Resistance (The new name for the Rebel Alliance).

From what we’ve seen and heard so far, including the details discussed during Star Wars Celebration, Daisy Ridley will be the ultimate star of Episode 7, championing girl power which is of course a key global issue right now.

It is also confirmed Gwendoline Christie’s (Game of Thrones) character is named Captain Phasma pictured above, taken by Annie Leibovitz again for Vanity Fair. Recent reports have suggested that Christie had been training with a lightsaber, so perhaps we are looking at an Imperial trooper who is also skilled with a saber? Or is she actually Sith?

Stay tuned for more Force Awakens details sure to drop in bulk as we draw closer to December!
