‘Furious 7’ Gets New Full Throttle Trailer

The highly anticipated Furious 7 has be given a second official trailer, just three days after it’s big burnout at the Super Bowl..but we’re not complaining.

Dom VIn Diesel, Brian, the late great Paul Walker and Hobbs Dwayne Johnson will star alongside some new faces including The Transporter himself Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, the revenge seeking, “Big bad brother”, of Fast and Furious 6‘s Owen Shaw Luke Evans, and martial arts extraordinaire Tony Jaa whose role, aside from the name of his character Louie Tran, is yet unknown.

The trailer, shown below, features some new footage that’s got us even more excited. How that’s possible I don’t know. This new footage, along with the Super Bowl spot, is crazy and we love that. From this three minute clip we understand why Statham’s Deckard Shaw is a force to be reckoned with, even by our favourite team of tried and tested petrol-heads. As Hobbs explains, he is an, “ex-special forces assassin” and bread to be a bit of a “monster”, saying this while we’re shown snippets of a fight scene between the two of them which no doubt will be an epic showdown. We also get our first glimpse of Kurt Russell, whose presence in the trailer is limited but from what we are shown it’s clear that he will play something like a government official, or someone who works for an intelligence Agency. We also expect the return of Tokyo Drift‘s Sean Boswell Lucas Black and can’t wait to see him become incorporated into the team.

Furious 7 is set for Nationwide release in the UK on the 3rd April
