Danny Boyle’s ‘Steve Jobs’ Gets An October 9th Release Date

Universal pictures has decided it will debut Steve Jobs, starring Michael fassbender as the iconic founder of tech giant Apple, during the next awards season.

Based off a script written by Alan Sorkin, the events of the film take place backstage at three of the biggest product launches of the company’s history and it will end with the presentation of the iMac in 1998. Boyle’s Biopic will centre around the achievements, and the dedication, of the World’s most celebrated man in tech and the company that was his pride and joy.

Michael Fassbender will play Steve Jobs alongside Oscar winner Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman, Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak, and Jeff Daniels, who also co-stars, as former Apple CEO John Sculley.
